Funeral services for Ismael Merino, 35, of Houston, Texas will be held Monday, December 30, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Ruben Sandoval officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Ismael was born March 1, 1989 in Mexico and passed away December 24, 2024 in Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Angel Merino.

He is survived by his mother, Altagracia Merino of Livingston, Texas; son, Jovanni Merino of Houston, Texas; daughter, Jennifer Merino of Houston, Texas; brothers, Albino Merino and wife Raquel of Houston, Texas, Alfredo Merino and wife Cristina of Destin, Florida, and Juan Merino of Livingston, Texas; and sisters, Anna Merino, Elizabeth Merino and husband Rogelio, Claudia Davalos and husband Rey, and Elisa Gonzalez and husband Daniel, all of Livingston, Texas; as well as numerous other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Pallbearers: Albino Merino, Alfredo Merino, Juan Merino, Rogelio Arredondo, Rey Davalos, and Isaias Cortes.
