Iva Jean Darby, age 67, of Carlisle, TX was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on August 4, 1944 to parents, Jefferson Garrett Smith and Goldie Ruth Cater Smith and she passed away on January 9, 2012, in Houston. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Wallace; brothers-in-law, Gary Darby, Dick Lester, David Gauthier; daughter, Tina Marie Darby. Iva is survived by her husband, Neil Darby of Carlisle; daughters, Mindye McKinster of Huntsville, Cindye Session of Livingston, Karon Darby of Huntsville, Ginger Brennan of Livingston; brother, Steve Smith of Plaindealing, Louisiana; sister, Joy Wise of Plaindealing, Louisiana; grandchildren, Allison Session, Wesley Session, Skyla McKinster, Christopher Brennan, Nicholas Brennan, and Benjamin Criswel. Private Services to be held by her family at a later date.
