Ruth was born on February 25, 1940 in Iola, Texas and passed away on June 27, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in health care.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Frank O'Neill, Jr. of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Debra Flores Tuncup and husband Russell of Kingwood, Texas; sons, Gary O'Bannon, Steve O'Bannon, Sr. and wife Martha, Kevin Cannady, Sr. and wife Patti, all of Livingston, Texas; step-daughter, Angela Vickery and husband Matt of Jupiter, Florida; mother, Hattie Watson of Livingston, Texas; sister, Pearl Reeder of Livingston, Texas; brother, Kelley Watson and wife Cathy of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Benjamin Flores, and wife Amber of New Caney, Texas, Brittany Young and husband Ronnie of Kinder, Louisiana, Alba Soukup and husband Randy of Spring, Texas, Jason O'Bannon and wife Cathy of Porter, Texas, Shawn O'Bannon, Steven O'Bannon, Alesha O'Bannon, all of Livingston, Texas, Kevin Cannady, Jr. of Rusk, Texas, Matthew Cannady of Livingston, Texas, Christopher Wiggins, Megan Vickery, Matthew Vickery, all of Jupiter Florida, Jamie Leigh Malac of Arab, Alabama; along with other numerous relatives and close friends.

Iva will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers, Benjamin Flores, Randy Soukup, Jason O'Bannon, Steven O'Bannon, Matthew Cannady, Erik Placker, and Jason Placker.
