Obituary
Jack W. Haltom Sr. of Onalaska passed away Wednesday January 28, 2009 in Lufkin. Funeral services will be 10:00AM Saturday January 31, 2009 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Homer Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday January 30, 2009 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM also in the Funeral Home Chapel.
Jack was born January 31, 1925 in Daisetta, Texas to parents Walter Hayes and Faye Aline Ellis Haltom. He served in the United States Air Force, during WWII. He was also a member of the Onalaska Church of Christ, and the Pearland Lodge AF & AM.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Minnie Frances Haltom and his 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Jack is survived by his wife Patricia Haltom of Onalaska, sons Jack W. Haltom of Malakoffa, Tx., and Glenn A. Haltom of Onalaska, daugthers Sherry A. Noak and husband Wayne of Lagrange, and Rita Kay Simms and husband Jerry of Katy. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
