Funeral services for Jack Avon Humble, Sr., age 76, of Trinity will be held Sunday March 21, 2010 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas with Rev. Mark Gray officiating and interment will follow in the Carlisle Cemetery in Carlisle, Texas.

He was born June 16, 1932 in Beaumont, Texas the son of Bluet & Edith Bowers Humble and passed away March 18, 2010 at his home in Trinity.

After his retirement from Texaco, he went to work for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in Huntsville. He was a member of the Buna Masonic Lodge #1095 AF&AM.

He is survived by his wife Jeanette Humble of Trinity, Brenda Gore, daughter of Trinity, Texas, Avon & Diane Humble, son & daughter in law of Buna, Texas, Johnny Humble, son of Buna, Texas, Janet & Billy Chevallier, daughter & son in law of Livingston, Texas, Bluet Paul Humble, brother of Jasper, Texas, Keltus Humble, brother of Nederland, Texas, grandchildren; Troy Presley, Luci Presley, Carl Humble, Brian Humble, Sean Humble, April Gray, Shaun Hancock, Christopher Mobley & Ashely Mobley and 18, great grandchildren.
