Funeral services for Jack Rice, 84, of Livingston, Texas will be held Sunday, July 21, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Brad Butler and Bro. John Greene officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held the day of service, from 2:00-3:00 p.m., at the church.

Jack was born November 1, 1939 in Greenville, Texas and passed away July 18, 2024 in Livingston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.L. Rice and Hazel Elsie (Darling) Rice; sister, Peggy Pittman; brothers-in-law, Bob Pittman, Danny Shew, Eddie Baker, Charles Pounds, Johnny Todd, and Fred Beard; and sister-in-law, Bobbie Baker.

He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Rice of Livingston, Texas; sons, Ray Rice and wife Melanie of Stonewall, Mississippi, and Kyle Rice and wife Kelly of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Amanda Daniel and husband Billy, Courtney Morris and husband Josh, Sydney Rice and Tyler Shirley, Rayney Rice, Reis Rice, Wesley Bernius and wife Lindsey, Kylie McLendon and husband Daniel, and Ryan Rice and wife Samantha; great grandchildren, Micah McLendon, Millie McLendon, Ellis Rice, Luke Shirley, and Jackson Bernius; sisters-in-law, Nelda Milling and husband Bill, Norma Beard, Sheila Todd, and Joyce Pounds; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
