Memorial services for Jamal Mahdy, 62, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

Jamal Mahdy was born July 28, 1959 in Washington, D.C. to parents Hamid Mahdy and Maria (Mendoza) Mahdy and passed away July 22, 2022 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Ismael Mahdy.

Jamal is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Felicia Stubbs and Eric of Baytown, Texas, and Amy Laviolette and Blake of Onalaska, Texas; son, Shawn Mahdy of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Crede Stubbs, Luke Stubbs, Timmy Stubbs, Autumn Laviolette and Ava Laviolette; sister and brother-in-law, Zainab Mills and Tony of Houston, Texas; brother and sister-n-law, Joe Mahdy and Mary Ann, also of Houston, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
