Funeral services for James Myron Alewine, 82, of Conroe, Texas, will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., before the service begins.

Mr. Alewine was born March 29, 1939, in Houston, Texas, to parents, James Murray Alewine and Sammye Adair (Coogler) Alewine, and passed away February 6, 2022 in Conroe, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his cousins, Kimberly Cooke of Bellville, Texas, Kathleen and Matt Crook and Kyle Crook of Pflugerville, Texas, Caroline and Dylan Lorenz of Conroe, Texas, and Barbara Coulter of Kingsland, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
