Funeral services for James Marshall "Buddy" Meadows, 76, of Paris, Texas, formerly of Livingston, Texas, will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Steve Waldrep officiating. Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.


James Marshall "Buddy" Meadows passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Legend Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Meadows, the son of Emmitt and Minnie Meadows, was born on December 12, 1941. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Charlie Parrott of Splendora; and grandson, Clinton Matthew Meadows of Orange.

Survivors include his son, James Michael Meadows and wife, Sandra of Orange; daughter, Tina Miller and husband, Darryl of Blossom; sister, Janette Parrott of Splendora; grandchildren, James Michael Meadows Jr. and wife, Viry of Orange, Crystal Meadows of Orange, Ashley Clark, Kevin Sessums and wife, Summer of Florida, Justin Sessums of Blossom; and Randal Sessums and wife, Monica of Blossom; and 11 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
