Funeral services for James Sylvester Bullock, 63, of Corrigan, Texas, will be held Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church Life Center in Corrigan, Texas with Rev. Royce Pennington and Rev. Phil Corbett officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Springs Cemetery in Corrigan, Texas. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church Life Center in Corrigan, Texas.

James was born September 19, 1953 in Corrigan, Texas to parents, C.B. Bullock Jr. and Mildred Nadine (Gentry) Bullock, and passed away December 26, 2016 in Lufkin, Texas. During his life, he worked as the service manager and parts manager for the family owned Bullock Motor Company. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. He is preceded in death by his father; and son, Christopher James Bullock.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, LaVina Bullock; daughters, Chastity Kay Bullock, Jamie Gail Bullock and Michael Ferrell; special daughter, Jennifer Helm and granddaughter, Chesney Cleveland; mother, Mildred Bullock; sisters, Tami Owens and husband, John, Barbara Wilkins and husband, Pat; brothers, Keith Bullock and wife, Lisa, Mark Bullock; brothers-in-law, James E. Loving and wife, Debra, Richard Loving and wife, Carol; sister-in-law, Wanda Loving; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
