Funeral services for James Thomas Burnett, 49, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Dickey Boddie officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

James was born April 29, 1972 in Woodville, Texas, to parents, John Thomas Proctor and Betty Irene (Atkerson) Burnett-Proctor, and passed away September 23, 2021 in Houston, Texas.

He is survived by wife, JoAnn (Gutierrez) Burnett of Livingston; mother, Betty Irene Proctor of Livingston; son, Ricardo Rosales, also of Livingston; daughters, Michelle Lee Rodriguez and husband, Victor, and Janice Rodriguez all from Lyford; son, Eduardo Rosales of Livingston; daughter, Karolyn Moreno and husband, Anthony of Raymondville; 12 grandchildren; and sister, Frances Elizabeth Dubose and husband, Mark of Onalaska; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
