Obituary
Funeral services for James Marvin Burress, 76, of Moss Hill, Texas, will be held Friday, June 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Betty Sue Watson officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Grove Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2017 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Burress was born December 24, 1940 in New Willard, Texas to parents, James Howard Burress and Henrietta (Johnson) Burress, and passed away June 6, 2017 in Moss Hill, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Raymond Darrell Burress.
He is survived by his daughter, Lesa Boutin and husband, David of Crosby, Texas; daughter, Janet Hoffeld and husband, Gary of Anahuac, Texas; sister, Betty Brown of Moss Hill, Texas; brother, Charles Burress and wife, Sandy of Moss Hill, Texas; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
