Mr. James Earl Cain, 94, of Cleveland, Texas was born May 3, 1926 in Segno, Texas, to parents, William Henry Cain and Eva (Murphy) Cain, and passed away January 17, 2021 at home in Cleveland, Texas.  During his life, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. He is preceded in death by his parents, and beloved wife, Catherin (Willoughby) Cain.

He is survived by his sons, James Laddie Cain and wife, Teresa, David Earl Cain and wife, Terri, and Randall Eugene Cain and wife, Theresa; grandchildren, Lewis Johnson, Saige Robinson, Stephen Johnson, James Ray Cain, Jeremy Cain, Caleb Cain, Lindsey Cain, Nicholas Cain, Zirie Cain, and Atreo Cain; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Ray Cain and Bill Henry Cain; and special family members, Martha and Jerry Bowen; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

A private service will be held at a later date.
