Funeral services for James Ernest "Jim" Rogers, 77, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Mike Rambado officiating. Interment will follow at the Victory Place Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. on Monday, June 30, 2014 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.
Jim was born July 18, 1936 in Serville, Tennessee and passed away on June 27, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Martha (McClanahan) Rogers; son, Ralph Clay Cain; granddaughter, Kelli Cain.
He is survived by his wife, Claudine Rogers of Livingston, Texas; daughters, Peggy Club, Jana Kay Rogers, Terry E. Weber, Cindy Luquette; sons, Berry Rogers, Ryan Rogers, Doug Roach; daughter, Lara Roach; sons, Curtis Roach, Dennis Cain; daughter, Pamela Allen; along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.
Jim will be escorted to his grave by pallbearers, Charles Smith, James Cain, R.J. Pennington, Brittany Cain, Jeanie Cain and Amber Cook.
