James Ray Harrison was born July 28, 1937, to parents, Herman William Harrison and Beulah (Warren) Harrison, and passed away December 21, 2016 in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Harrison of Point Blank, Texas; son, James Ray Harrison Jr. and Patricia of Houston, Texas; daughter, Marguerite Teer and Bryan of Humble, Texas; daughter, Patti Vail and James of Houston, Texas; son, Michael Harrison and Sandra of Houston, Texas; David Harrison and Amy of Baytown, Texas; son, Stephen Harrison and Jennifer of Houston, Texas; sister, Ava Carrol of New Caney, Texas; grandchildren, Ashley Pardo and Amus, Jeremy Harrison, Zachary Harrison and Heather, Taylor Vail and Brittany, Cody Vail, David Harrison Jr., Amber Currie and Cody, Christopher Harrison, Jacob Harrison, Nicholas Harrison, Ruth Harrison, Patricia Harrison; great grandchildren, Titus Vail and Leo Harrison; and numerous other relatives and friends..
