Funeral services for James P. Jacobs, age 86 of Livingston, Texas will be held Saturday February 13, 2010 at 10:00am in the chapel of Cochran Funeral in Livingston, with Rev. Gerald Beckham officiating and interment to follow in the Camp Ruby Cemetery in Livingston. Pallbearers will be Raymond Lilley, Michael Lilley, Brent Stowe and Curtis Stowe, Military Honors Provided by VFW Post #8568 of Livingston.

He was born August 27, 1923 in Livingston, Texas the son of Daniel Jack Jacobs and Ola Mae Parrott Jacobs and passed away February 8, 2010 at his home in Livingston. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Joyce Fincher and grandchildren, Darrell Owen and Leonard Stowe.

He is survived by his wife Louise Jacobs of Livingston, Mildred Maucelli, daughter of Cape Coral, Florida, Barbara Broadright, daughter of Centerville, Texas, Francis Scarcella, daughter of Splendora, Texas, Carolyn Lilley, daughter of New Caney, Texas, Vernon Renfro, son of Frackville, PA., Jerry Renfro, son of Livingston, 11, grandchildren, and Floyd Jacobs, brother.
