Graveside services for James Phillip Kelley, 79, of Galveston, Texas will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. in the Coldspring Methodist Cemetery in Coldspring, Texas.

Mr. Kelley was born October 2, 1941 in Newport, Arkansas, to parents, Walker Kelley and Bonnie (Barnett) Kelley, and passed away January 7, 2021 in Galveston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Kelley of Galveston; sons, Darren Shawn Kelley and wife, Tracey of Angleton, and Dayne Philip Kelley and wife, Wendy of Greenville; daughters, Andrea Lynn Starkey and husband, Robert of College Station, Melissa Ann Jordan and husband, Darrell of Pearland, Jeanne Kathleen Leasure and husband, Beeman of Pearland, and Kimberly Marie Hamilton and husband, Brian of Rosharon; brothers, Walker Kelley and wife, Cynthia of Hawaii, and Michael Kelley and wife, Kitty of Alabama; sisters, Carolyn Lamkins and husband, Russell of North Carolina, and Kay Matthews and husband, Charles of Arkansas; 24 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
