Graveside Services for James Lamar Johnson, age 74, of Onalaska, Texas will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 21, 2011 in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska with Bro. Don Wilkey officiating.
He was born October 3,1937 in Austin, Texas to Jullius Fritz Johnson and Beulah Thurman and passed away on October 19, 2011 in Livingston. He is preceded in death by parents, Jullius Fritz Johnson and Beulah Thurman.
James is survived by Dorothy Johnson, wife, of Onalaska, James E. and Flo Johnson, son and daughter-in-law, of Bastrop, Douglas Lee and Tonya Johnson, son and daughter-in-law, of Kerrville, Cheryel and Gary Norfolk, daughter and son-in-law, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Tammy and Russell McGhee, daughter and son-in-law, of Texas City, grandchildren, Jeremy, Chad, Casey, Shannon, Coleman, Douglas James, Michael, Caleb, Morgan, Heather, Kenneth, Jessica, 8 great grandchildren. Numerous other special family and friends also survive.
