James Alan Lawrence, age 46 of Livingston, Texas, passed away on July 7, 2013 in Livingston. James was born on February 9, 1967 in Houston, Texas to parents, Freddy Charles Lawrence and Cynthia Ann Shahan.

James is preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Wayne Lawrence. He is survived by his mother, Cynthia Cole of Texarkana, Arkansas; brother, Charles Lawrence of Texarkana, Arkansas; brother and sister-in-law, David Lawrence and Nikki of Center, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Melissa Munoz and Alex of Center, Texas; son, Jonathan Lawrence of Germany; son, Jeffery Lawrence of Montgomery, Texas; father and step-mother, Freddy Lawrence and Patricia of Center, Texas; step-son, Erin Watts of Montgomery, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for James Alan Lawrence will be held Saturday, July 13, 2013, at 11:00 AM, at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. Rev. Charles Lawrence will be officiating.
