A memorial service will be held for James William Lewis, 74, of Livingston, Texas, Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Danny Moye officiating.

James was born April 18, 1949 in Elberton, Georgia and passed away November 19, 2023 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, David Lewis and Martha (Davis) Lewis; and brothers, Jesse Lewis and Mike Lewis.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Lewis of Livingston, Texas; daughters, Sonya Shannon and Tracie Fuller, both of Livingston, Texas; sons, Shannon Lewis of Spokane, Washington, Tim Lewis of Iva, South Carolina, and Lonnie Lewis of Anderson, South Carolina; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and brothers, Tony Lewis of Charleston, South Carolina, John Lewis of Belton, South Carolina, Wendell Lewis of Corrigan, Texas, Jimmy Lewis of Cleveland, Texas and Lee Lewis of Ace, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
