James Franklin McBride, age 79, of Livingston, TX passed away on February 19, 2012, in Corrigan, TX. He was born on November 23, 1932 in Bono, Arkansas to parents Wade McBride and Lillian Conway McBride. James was a member of the Church of God in Farmers Branch, TX. He married Edna L. McLemore on January 1951 in Durant, Missouri.

James is preceded in death by her parents, Wade & Lillian McBride. He is survived by his wife, Edna McBride of Livingston, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Michael Gates of Livingston; two sons and daughter-in-law, James M. & Debbie McBride of Frisco, TX and Mark McBride of The Colony, TX; three grandchildren, Tonya Wright of Livingston, TX, Bevin Jackson of Lewisville, TX, and Jordan McBride of The Colony, TX; one great grandchild, Destiny Gentry of Livingston; brother, Dale McBride of Livingston.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston. Rev. Barry Duke will conduct the service. Interment will follow the Chapel Service at Camp Ruby Cemetery in Livingston. Pallbearers are Maty Gates, Ricky Gates and Randall Gates.
