A memorial service for James Martin McKissick, Jr., 66, of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at the Cochran Funeral Home chapel in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, July 31, 2023 at the Cochran Funeral Home chapel in Livingston, Texas.

James was born January 12, 1957 in Pasadena, Texas and passed away July 27, 2023 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Martin McKissick and Bonnie (Crews) McKissick; and brother, Scott McKissick.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karri McKissick of Livingston, Texas; daughters, Betty Jean McKissick of Houston, Texas and Maci Page McKissick of Livingston, Texas; and sisters, Lisa Morton and husband Steve of Deer Park, Texas, Debbie Barnett of Sour Lake, Texas, Jinjr Peavy and husband Gordon of Huntsville, Texas, and Robyn Gordon and husband Robert of Deer Park, Texas; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
