James (Jim) Mulno, 67 years young passed away peacefully Sunday evening October 23rd at HCA Clear Lake in Webster, TX. He was surrounded by his children and caregivers.
Jim was born June 16th 1955 in Bath, New York to the late John and Marion Mulno. He was the youngest of two children. He lived in Canton, PA for the majority of his life.
Jim worked in the Lumber Industry, Retiring in 2021 from Cummings Lumber Company in Troy, PA where he spent 34 years. Prior to this he worked for several lumber companies doing many different things.
After retiring Jim joined his daughter and beloved son in law in Texas where he enjoyed the rest of his days doing all the things that he loved. This was such an amazing time as he never really left the county he grew up in and he was able to see and experience many life changing things and eat southern food. He was mostly excited about seeing Catfish on the menu of every restaurant and he always ordered it.
Jims hobbies included hunting, fishing, gun restoration, woodworking, target shooting, gardening, attending his grandsons sporting events, and tinkering in the garage. Jim was happiest when he was in the outdoors even if it was by himself listening to the "peepers" or watching the lightning bugs fly by.
Jim was a simple man, he found enjoyment in the little things and could make something out of nothing. His three children followed in his footsteps as there has never been a better man to have shown them how to work hard, love harder, be the best version of themselves, be good husbands, wives, and most of all be the best parents for his grandchildren. There's not enough room in this obituary to tell you everything about this wonderful man, but those who knew him can finish the story in their hearts.
