Funeral services for James Everett Parrish, 93, of College Station, Texas, formerly of Livingston, will be held Thursday, January 30, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Virginia Harrison officiating. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568.  Interment will follow in the Parrish Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2020 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Parrish was born November 27, 1926 in Hortense, Texas to parents, Art Hamilton Parrish and Carrie (Martin) Parrish, and passed away January 26, 2020 in College Station, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley Parrish, son, Bill Nathan Parrish; great-granddaughter, Caroline Parrish; and sisters, Floy I. Dobbs, Helen Beaty, Sarah Pace, and Exie Jean Rivers.

He is survived by his daughter, Belinda Jean Conner and husband, Archie of College Station; son, Dale Everett Parrish and wife, Keri of Conroe; daughter, Cindy Ann Gaston of Tyler; grandchildren, Stacy Guerra and husband, Gabe, Carrie Neese and husband, David, Nathan Conner, Michael Parrish and wife, Holly, Brandi Hall and husband, Michael, Tara Blancett and husband, Justin, Riley Gaston, and Colton Gaston; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
