Funeral services for James Travis Ramey, 63, of Shepherd, Texas, will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Robin Huber officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Folsom Chapel Cemetery in Center, Texas. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2021, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Ramey was born January 23, 1958 in Center, Texas, to parents, Travis Ramey and Mary Belle (Eddins) Ramey, and passed away August 16, 2021 in Conroe, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Ramey of Shepherd, Texas; daughter and boyfriend, Felicia Lagrone and William Honc of Livingston, Texas; granddaughters, Kellie Edwards of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, and Brittany Edwards of Livingston, Texas; grandson, D.J. Edwards of Livingston, Texas; sister, Teresa Miller of Dallas, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Irene Latham of Kennedy, Texas; nephew, Bill Latham; nieces, Dlorah Milligan and husband Jason, Rosemary Lemanski, and KiKi Miller; along with numerous great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
