Funeral services for James Wallace Repp, 87, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Pine Forest Baptist Church in Onalaska, Texas with Rev. Larry Shine officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Saturday, just prior to service time. Interment will follow the service at Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas.
Mr. Repp was born on November 5, 1926 in Duncan, Oklahoma and passed away on February 25, 2014 in Baytown, Texas. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII and later worked as a safety supervisor/fire chief for Shell Oil Company. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Walter and Ada Belle (Bryant) Repp; wife, Marie Repp; and grandson, Chad Huntley.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Huntley of Baytown, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and June Repp of Baytown, Texas; sister, Janice Neuman of Baytown, Texas; grandchildren, Eric Huntley, Heather Sherman and husband Eddie, and Matt Repp; great-grandchildren, Noah and Ethan Sherman; along with numerous other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Remington Park Staff, Faith Community Hospice, Linda Marble and family, and Dr. Raymond Luna and staff.
Mr. Repp will be escorted to his grave by pallbearers, James Stovall, Omer Campbell, Mark Campbell, Eric Huntley, Eddie Sherman, and Matt Repp. The deacons at Pine Forest Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
