James Ryburn Jr., age 63 of Onalaska, Texas passed away on October 20, 2013 in Onalaska. He was born on July 5, 1950 to parents, James Edwin and Mary Lou (Moore) Ryburn.
Jamie is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Lori Ryburn of Onalaska, Texas; son, Dustin Cavener and wife Rebecca of Kemah, Texas; son, Jason Cavener and wife Danille of Columbus, Ohio; daughter, Brittney Elliott of Onalaska, Texas; son, Casey Ryburn of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Izabella Cavener, Evan Cavener, Kyle Cavener, Faith Morton, and Charity Morton; sisters, Linda Mazur and husband Bob of Springfield, Missouri and Carol Perks and husband Joe of Greenville, Texas; he is also survived by his friends at BBX and Pickleland.
He went into the oil and gas industry in 1979 instead of making his career in music. He was a pipeliner and landman and was very good at what he did. He was a subcontractor for BBX and Pickleland for 7 years. His life was his grandkids, fishing, duck hunting, gambling, and music. Jamie started playing the steel guitar when he was five years old.
Jamie will be missed by many. It's not goodbye, it's see ya later!
