Funeral services for James Henry Stanley, 84, of Livingston, Texas will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Steve Waldrep officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Springs Cemetery in Corrigan, Texas. Visitation will be held Monday, September 24, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Stanley was born on April 11, 1934 in Mexia, Texas to parents, James Arthur Stanley and Ollie (Matthews) Stanley, and passed away September 21, 2018 in Livingston, Texas. During his life, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lola Mae Stanley; and son, David Allen Stanley.

He is survived by his son, James E. Stanley of Livingston; his beloved, Betty Jo Stanley of Livingston; grandson, David Allen Stanley II of Livingston; granddaughter, Natoshia Leigh Mesarch and John of Livingston; grandson, James Allen Jordan of Livingston; granddaughter, Cheyanne Brooke Stanley of Livingston; grandson, James A.W. Stanley of Livingston; and grandson, Isaiah Lain Stanley of Livingston; along with numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
