Funeral services for James Corris Stevens, 60, of Houston, Texas will be held Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Rev. Jim Calvert officiating. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the service begins at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2019.

James was born February 23, 1959 in Houston, Texas to parents, John Corris Cessna Stevens and Leatrice Joy (Nelson) Stevens, and passed away July 29, 2019 in Onalaska, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his sons, Joshua Stevens, Jason Stevens, and Michael Stevens; daughter, Angelica Stevens; brothers, John M. Stevens, and Williams H. Stevens; sister, Cynthia Stevens; and grandchildren, Benito De La Garza III, Logan Stevens, Luke Stevens, Janeece Arielle Juarez Stevens, Danielle Emily Juarez Stevens, Penelope Annabelle Maggie Stevens, and Camilla Jane Valdez; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
