Funeral services for Jane Mae Bowers, 86, of Castroville, Texas, will be held Sunday, July 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Harold Isaacs officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Ms. Bowers was born June 28, 1932 to parents, Fred Marion Smith and Iola Mae (Waller) Smith, and passed away July 10, 2018 in Castroville, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Kate Anderson.

She is survived by her son, Clarence Wendell Bowers of Castroville, Texas; granddaughter, Stacie Ingram and husband, Donald of Castroville, Texas; grandson, Steven Smith and wife, Angie of Magnolia, Texas; grandson, Layn Chess of Houston, Texas; and great-grandchildren, Devan Daniel, Aaron, Madison, and Clarissa; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
