Jane Louise Messner 84 of Livingston passed away Thursday October 30, 2008 at her home. Funeral services will be Sunday November 2, 2008at 2:00PM in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rusty Shuler officiating. Burial will be in Muhlenberg Township, PA. Visitation will be Saturday November 1, 2008 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM also in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.

Jane was born May 18, 1924 to parents Roy and Wilma Tyson McLaughlin. Her parents proceed her in death. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Livingston.

She is survived by her husband of 12 years Kenneth Harvey Messner of Livingston, son Richard Rickenback and wife Diane of Hilton Head, SC., daughter Charlene Phillips of Williamsburg, VA., daughter Janell Weller and husband Steve of Reading, PA., and son Robert Rickenbach and wife Robyn of Chantilly, VA., and grandchildren Laura Weller, Peter Rickenbach, Lisa Carter, Alex Phillips, Tim Weller, David Weller, Dan Rickenbach, Kate Rickenbach, Mia Rickenbach, Mia Rickenbach, Lindsey Messner. He is also survived by her brother Jim McLaughlin, stepsons Walter Kenneth Messner of Austin, Thomas Edward Messner and wife Gwen of Goodrich, and step daughter Gail W. Messner of Pearland.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Ladies Bible Sunday School Class.
