Funeral services for Janet Lynn Blalock, 63 of Trinity, Texas, will be held Friday, March 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Rev. Richard Gray officiating. Interment will follow in the Carlisle Cemetery in the Carlisle Community.  Visitation will be held Friday, March 18, 2022 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., before the service begins, in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.

Janet was born January 21, 1959, in Lufkin, Texas, to parents, James Self and Betty Joy (Wade) Self, and passed away March 15, 2022 in Trinity, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Blalock of Trinity, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, David and Sherry Hill of Hemphill, Texas; son, Nathan Hill of Lufkin, Texas; daughter, Brandy Blalock; grandchildren, Drew Owen, Shelby Hill, Clara Hill, Hannah Hill, and Kendall Blalock; great grandchildren, Segar Owen and Ellana Rose Blalock; parents, James and Betty Self of Trinity, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Delinda and James Renfro of Trinity, Texas; and brother and sister-in-law, Wes and Gerri Self of Trinity, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
