Funeral services for Janet Ann Buffington, 81, of Livingston, Texas will be held Thursday, April 21, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2022, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Buffington was born June 26, 1940 in Sumner, Iowa to parents, Herman F. Rosenow and Helen (Lenway) Rosenow, and passed away April 13, 2022 in Kingwood, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Aubrey "Pop" Buffington; daughter, Ellen Marie Buffington; brother, James Frederick Rosenow; sisters, Jean Makowsky and Mary Ellen Beck; and grandsons, Damian Wilkerson and Perry James "PJ" Spore.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Adam and Cindy Spore, Allen and Stephanie Spore, Perry and Lisa Spore; sons, Robert Spore, Dwayne Buffington, and Mark Spore; daughters, Kaylee Buffington, Donna Buffington and Darlene Atkinson; daughter-in-law, Tammy Spore; 21 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; along with many other relatives and a host of friends.
