Janet Childress

A memorial service for Janet Childress, 84, of Livingston, Texas will be held Friday, October 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Lynn Sasser officiating.

Janet was born November 10, 1941, in Austin, Texas and passed away October 17, 2026, in Katy, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Childress; parents, Champ Clark and Lorraine Touchstone Clark; and daughter, Cathy Childress.

She is survived by her son, Matt Childress and wife Candace of Sealy, Texas; grandsons, Chase Childress and wife Marlee, and Cody Childress and wife Madee; and great granddaughter, Addie Kate Childress; along with numerous other loved ones and friends.
