Janet Petch 74 of Point Blank passed away Tuesday May 5, 2009 at her home with her family by her side. Funeral survives will be Saturday May 9, 2009 at 10:00AM in the Cochran Funeral Home Onalaska Chapel with Rev. Frank Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Hill Cemetery.

Janet was born January 15, 1935 in New Orleans, La., to parents James Vernon Chappell and Ethel Wallace Chappell. She married her husband Willam Louis Petch on June 14, 1952 in Melville, La. Janet was very involved in the Point Look Out Estates Civic Club and had served as president.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Camille Chappell.

Janet is survived by her husband William Petch of Point Blank, daughters Julie Dillon and Janet Annette Chappell both of Goffs Town, New Hampshire, son James Dalwyn Petch of Onalaska, grandchildren Lauren Dillon, Erin Dillon, Zach Petch, Jena Petch, Drea Petch, Branden Alexander, Bradley Alexander, Janet Tenorio, and his great grandchildren Faith, Priscilla, Mackenzie, Kaitlyn and Noah.

Serving as pallbearers will be Zach Petch, Bradley Alexander, David Whittington, David Stelley, Elton Moorcott, Ernest Dupluchan, and Jose Tenorio
