Funeral services for Janice Redmond Harrell, 80, of Coldspring, Texas will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Paul Horton United Methodist Church in Stephen Creek, Texas with Pastor Mariann Rayne officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Coldspring, Texas. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins at 11:00 a.m. in the church.

Mrs. Harrell was born September 10, 1941 in Monroe, Louisiana, to parents, William James Redmond Jr. and Ila Mae (Sanders) Redmond-Adkins, and passed away January 23, 2022 in Coldspring, Texas.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andrew Harrell; and son, Stan Provost.

She is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Michelle Honeycutt; sons, Gregory Wayne Smith, Sidney "Tojo" William Smith, Shelby Glenn Smith, and Russell Craig Provost; step-sons, Andy Harrell, Johnny Harrell, and Danny Harrell; 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Vernon L. Redmond, Bobby Redmond, and M.J. "Billy" Redmond; and sister, Patsy Walsh; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
