Funeral services for Janice Odell Shirley Hunter, 76, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, March 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Nathan Hendrix officiating. Interment will follow in the Bluff Creek Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2018 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Hunter was born May 30, 1941 in Fayette, Alabama to parents, Millard Shirley and Lucy E. (Pike) Shirley, and passed away March 5, 2018 in Conroe, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Millard Weldon Hardy; sisters, Dinah Hendrix and Joyce Hicks; and brothers, Jim Shirley and Bruce Shirley.

She is survived by her husband, Robert T. Hunter of Livingston, Texas; son, Marlon Dotson Hardy and Cindy of Pasadena, Texas; son, Paul Dean Hardy of Dallas, Texas; son, Billy Ray Hardy and Tesa of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Clara Kye Strapps and Eddie of Livingston, Texas; son, Robert Michael Hunter and Pam of Crosby, Texas; daughter, Teresa Ann Barker and Howard of Crosby, Texas; daughter, Shelia Rooker and Jim of Conroe, Texas; brother, Jerry Shirley and Ronnie; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
