Graveside services for Janie Harrison Rivers, 89, of Cypress, Texas will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Frankston, Texas with Bro. Brad Butler officiating. Visitation will be held at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas on Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 4:30-7:30 p.m.

Janie was born August 11, 1934 in Frankston, Texas and passed away September 5, 2023 in Cypress, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell Guilder Harrison and Lockie Mae (Henderson) Harrison.

She is survived by her son, Tom Rivers; daughter, Michelle Rivers; granddaughter, Chloe; very close cousins, Shirley Culver, Billy Mayo and wife Felicia, Teresia Foreman, Wayne Smith and wife Joyce, Denise Carlisle, Barbara Coley and husband Billy, and Pat Smith and husband Thomas; and her puppy, Nicky; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
