Janis Louise Burris

A memorial visitation in honor of Janis Burris, 79, of Livingston, Texas will be held Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 4:00-6:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

Janis was born January 18, 1947, in Port Arthur, Texas and passed away May 12, 2026, in Livingston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver Julius O’Neal and Helen Stiehl O’Neal; son, Carl Steven Burris Jr.; and sister, Judy Hall.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Burris; daughter and son-in-law, Carol Fowler and John; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Burris and Elizabeth Williams, and Christopher Burris and Deirdre; grandchildren, Jessica Fowler Neal and Ezra Neal, Lucas Fowler, Erin Fowler, Tink Burris, Norah Burris, and Owen Burris; and great grandchildren, Isaac Neal and Samuel Neal; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
