Memorial services for Janis Jane Yates, 71, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Monday, April 13, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Tim Thompson officiating.
Mrs. Yates was born April 11, 1943 in Beaumont, Texas to parents, James Harold Albin and Ethelyn Albin Murray, and passed away April 9, 2015 in Livingston, Texas. During her life, she was a dispatcher for the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department for over 35 years. She is preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Jewel Christoph
She is survived by her husband, Lester "Bill" Yates of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Travis Christoph Sr. and Angela of Livingston, Texas; sister, Suetta Albin of Belton, Texas; granddaughter and husband, Tasha Wiginton and Billy of Livingston, Texas; grandson and wife, Travis Christoph Jr. and Stephanie of Livingston, Texas; granddaughter and husband, Autumn Christoph and Nick Bowlen of Livingston, Texas; great-grandchildren, Chandler Wiginton, Noah Wiginton, Ezra Wiginton, Ross Christoph, and Cheyenne Bowlen; niece, Clare Lane Pace of San Antonio, Texas; nephews, Hudson Pace of Gothenburg, Sweden and Thomas Mahler of Austin, Texas; cousin and husband, Pamela Moore and Jim of The Woodlands, Texas; cousin and husband, Chauntel Plopper and Shane of The Woodlands, Texas; cousin, Trace Plopper of The Woodlands, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
