Funeral services for Jannie Lou Griffith age 72 of Livingston, Texas will be held Saturday October 9, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Hood officiating and interment to follow in the Peebles Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randall Utz, Kenneth Utz, Ronald Griffith, Jr., Jon Cornell, Raymond Ballengee, Christopher Griffith, Darren Mc Niel, and Mike Nettles.

She was born June 23, 1938 in Elwood, Texas the daughter of the late W. D. Utz, Sr. and Maggie Jane Matthews Utz and passed away October 5, 2010 in Livingston, Texas.

She is survived by her Sons Ronald L. Griffith, Ed Griffith, Jr., and Charles A. Griffith and Daughter-in-law Kim, Daughters Saunda G. Meyka and Donna J. Slack, Sisters Kathy Immel, Ida Nettles, and Thelma Grindle, Brothers W.D. Utz, Jr. and Frank Utz, 13 Grandchildren, Mistie Ballengee, Maggie Cornell, Ronald Griffith, Jr., Brandy Griffith, Shauna Griffith, Amy Griffith, Christopher Griffith, Cayla Griffith, Martha Slack, John Slack, Kristin Griffith, Karen Griffith, and Andrew Griffith. She is also survived by 17 Great Grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ed Griffith, Sr., and brother Leroy Utz.
