Jay Loyd Jeter, 90, of Shepherd, Texas was born December 24, 1927 in Vidor, Texas and passed away January 15, 2018 in Shepherd, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dixie Jeter; and sister, Anna Jo Husband.

He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Loyd and Sandra Jeter of Shepherd, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Tamara and Lex Owens of Spokane, Washington; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Tammy Jeter of Spokane, Washington; grandson, Warren Jeter and Brooke of Guthrie, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Terrie Beck and James of Shepherd, Texas; granddaughter, Angela Ferguson of Shepherd, Texas; grandson, Bubba Hoffart and Jessica of Shepherd, Texas; grandson, Jeremie Hoffart and Jess of Shepherd, Texas; along with numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
