Obituary
A memorial service for J.C. Sandlin, 74, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Chuck McLaurin officiating.
Mr. Sandlin was born on October 5, 1939 in Houston, Texas and passed away on August 7, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Alma (Matthews) Sandlin; and sister, Jean Wheeler. J.C. loved hunting and fishing. He was a good hearted, honest man, who spent his time thinking about others. He was sweet, reliable, and if ever in need he would try to provide. J.C. will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his brothers, Tommie Sandlin of Livingston, Texas and Freddie Matthews of Livingston, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the U.S.O & V.F.W. Post #8568.
