Obituary
Funeral services for Dr. JD Parkman, age 87, of Livingston, Texas will be Wednesday July 20, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Randall Whitt officiating. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Military Honors will be provided by the VFW Post #8568. Pallbearers will be J.T. Price, Kevin Ralson, John Vanya, David Vanya, Leonard Fleener, and Jim Parrott. Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Fleener, Ryan Bartosh, David Allen Vanya, Jr., and Dr. Shelby Elliott.
He was born October 29, 1923 in Tenaha, Texas the son of Jesse Duard Parkman and Barbara Leu Parkman and passed away July 17, 2011 in Livingston, Texas. JD is preceded in death by parents, Jesse Duard Parkman and Barbara Leu Parkman, daughter, Rhonda Jo Parkman, brother, Duard Edward Parkman.
JD is survived by Edith Parkman, wife, of Livingston, Texas, Jeffery and Patricia Parkman, son and daughter-in-law, of Livingston, Texas, Brandon Parkman, grandson, of Livingston, Texas, Patricia and J.T. Price, daughter and son-in-law, of Winnsboro, Texas. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
