Funeral services for J.E. ""Buck"" McIlvain age 73, of Onalaska, Texas will be held Thursday, January 21, 2010 at the Lake Livingston Luthern Church in Onalaska at 2:00pm with Rev. Sharon Kapsch officiating, interment to follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska. Pallbearers will be Kelly McCall, J.R. Johnson, Ronnie Johnson, David Vaughn, Bob Brandes and Steve Fisher.

He was born March 27, 1936 in Livingston, Texas the son of Holley & Minnie Nix McIlvain. He moved to back to Livingston to retire in his ""paradise.""

Buck succumbed to Leukemia on January 16, 2010.

He is survived by his wife Toby, sons, Scott and Carlene of Onalaska, Terry & Kim of San Antonio, Nick of Tomball, granddaughters, Ashley Duesterberg and Kadie McIlvain, granson, Zac McIlvain, one great granddaughter, Paige Duesterberg, brother, Andy, sisters, Thelma, Becky and Maydell and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the doctor, her dedicated staff and hopsital nurses that were always there for us.
