Visitation for Jean Kathern (Brown) Hopson, 85, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Hopson was born on November 17, 1932 in Plattsburg, New York to parents, Eugene Brown and Elizabeth (Gilley) Brown and passed away September 5, 2018 in Lufkin, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Dan Hopson of Livingston, Texas; son, Joe Phillips and wife, Dana of Angleton, Texas; daughter, Lisa McCullough and husband, Reed of Manteno, Illinois; son, Scott Phillips of Las Vegas, Nevada; step-son, Darran Hopson and wife, Wendy of Livingston, Texas; grandson, Cody McCullough; granddaughter, Savannah Hopson; grandsons, Tyler Hopson and Colt Fuller; granddaughter, Brandi Johnson; and grandson, John Penton; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
