Funeral services for Jean Rose Durrett, 85, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Bro. Mickey Fountain officiating. Interment will follow later that afternoon at 2:30 p.m. in the Mixon Cemetery in Mixon, Texas. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the service begins at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Jean was born October 24, 1936 in Poth, Texas to parents, Robert Henry Bednarz and Theresa (Flieller) Bednarz, and passed away May 23, 2022 in Point Blank, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Durrett; grandson, Clinton Marion; 5 sisters and a brother.

She is survived by her son, Bob David "Buster" Durrett and wife, Regina of Gonzales; daughters, Debra Yencer and husband, Steven of Victoria, Elaine Foster and husband, Tony of Bullard, Cassandra Woodall and fiancé, Greg of Austin, Bobbie Jean Boyd and husband, Billy of Corrigan, and Loretta Kaiser and husband, Mark of Pasadena; sister, Sandra Moody of West Columbia; and brother, Jerry Bednarz of Jacksonville; as well as 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren on the way; and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
