Graveside services for Jean Frances Plank, of Livingston, Texas will be held Friday, November 29, 2024, at 12:00 p.m., at Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Rick Clark officiating and Angela Cox will provide the eulogy. Visitation will be held the day of service, from 10:00-11:30, at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.
Jean, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend to many, went peacefully to be with our Lord Jesus on November 26, 2024, at the age of 91.
She was born August 4, 1933 in Swampscott, Massachusetts but moved to and became a longtime resident of Livingston, Texas. Jean was a strong woman of faith and enjoyed attending Riding on Faith Church in Livingston, Texas. She loved her children deeply and loved working in the medical field, which she did for 40+ years because she loved helping people. She also enjoyed reading her bible on a daily basis. An animal lover of all kinds, she loved her little Chorkie, Mr. Gibbs. She also enjoyed the occasional trips to the casino.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Harry George Plank, who passed in December 2022; mother, Caroline Savory Howard; sister, Nancy Savory Bushert; and grandson, Ricky Lee Edwards.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Verrett of Livingston, Texas; son, Brent Barnard (Melissa) of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Laureen Denison (Joel) of Loreauville, Louisiana; grandchildren, Jason Barnard, Collette Gonzales (Lionel), Tiffany St. Martin (Josh), Chelsea Hueske (Andy), Zachary Barnard (Kaley); great grandchildren, Cayden, Madyson, and Jaylynne Barnard, Bradley Mann (Gonzales) and Jordan and Alex Gonzales, Gunner and Granger St. Martin, Eli and Dax Murphy, Brooks and Baker Barnard; great-great grandchildren, Fayre and Isla Mann; and cousins, Marilyn MacNair of Lynn, Massachusetts, and Barbara Wadsworh (Larry) of Swampscott, Massachusetts; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers: Brent Barnard, Zach Barnard, Brad Mann, Jordan Gonzales, Alex Gonzales, and Lionel Gonzales.
