Services for Jeannie Ann Sowell, 76, of Montgomery, Texas, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Houston, Texas. Visitation will be held the day of service, from 9:00-10:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.

Jeannie was born April 23, 1933 in Houston, Texas, and passed away May 31, 2023 in Magnolia, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Dedee(Graham) Ecke.

She is survived by her son, Michael Sowell and wife Ashliegh of Magnolia, Texas; daughter, Jeania Pegoda and husband Brian of Huntsville, Texas; grandson, Jake Sowell; granddaughter, Amanda O'Bannon; grandson, Ronald O'Bannon; several great grandchildren; brother, Dan Ecke of Magnolia, Texas; and sister, Susan Covington and husband Howard of Livingston, Texas ; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
