Obituary
Funeral services for Jerald Donald Hunter, 77, will be held Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Robert Smith officiating. Military Honors provided by the VFW Post #8568 Honor Guard. Interment to follow at the Midway Cemetery in Midway, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Hunter was born August 19, 1937 in Livingston, Texas to parents, Charlie Hunter and Jewell Evelyn (Parten) Hunter, and passed away December 1, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. During his life, he served as the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department Support Technician from 1992-2005. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Charlene Hollifield.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Stephanie Hunter of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, David and Rhonda Hunter of Livingston, Texas; granddaughter and husband, Heather and Jared Wiggins of Livingston, Texas; grandsons, Blake Hunter of Livingston, Texas and Garrett Hunter of Houston, Texas; numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department.
